Contemporary Refuge

This young family's home in Calgary needed a lot of love to align the interior with not only their functional needs but also the earthy, bold style of its new owners. ⁠Thanks to a gorgeous combination of millwork throughout the entryway, kitchen, living room, and powder room, this home has been infused with warmth from the matte Linen millwork and deep rich tones of our Smoked Walnut veneer. ⁠

The kitchen's proximity to the entrance allowed a continuous wall of millwork to span end to end capped off with an entry seating nook and hidden coat closet for a fully integrated look.⁠ In keeping with the rest of the space, a bespoke bar was created for these self-proclaimed mixologists and accents of walnut were added around the fireplace. These additions were of course mainly to serve as a means of making the home more functional, but also as additional excuses to integrate more Smoked Walnut into the design.

We'd be remiss to not give honourable mention to the punchiest powder room yet; complete with a custom vanity and the boldest monkey-themed wallpaper available (a non-negotiable for these homeowners!)
