This outdated 90's kitchen had a congested layout with a large corner pantry taking up a significant footprint. The lack of functional storage throughout and the dated materials and appliances were screaming for an update. ⁠With Design Partner Erin on board, these homeowners transformed their drab, crowded grey kitchen into a bright and breezy contemporary classic. ⁠

Mixing our Heritage Shaker with natural wood veneer for a modern take on a classic white kitchen, this space is fresh and crisp in its finishes but keeps a warm cozy kitchen vibe thanks to the subtle veining in the stunning waterfalled island and textured backsplash tiles. ⁠

"This Calgary kitchen remodel hit all the right notes of a timeless classic. We developed a material scheme of off-white cabinets paired with accents of natural oak, a white quartz countertop, and backsplash tiles, finished with brass hardware and faucet that felt balanced, and classic.⁠

The goal was to create simplicity while still having depth and movement through the space. With the use of textural materials, a play of proportion, natural materials, and light-reflecting surfaces we were able to create a focal point of the home while designing the kitchen to feel like it was always meant to be that way. ⁠
